Marta wrote me to ask about a portrait session and at that moment she was in Iasi. I was so excited about the idea and the fact that we had to travel! We made it possible and decided to meet in Cluj! She took the train and I took a bus. It was an adventure just starting to unveil!
I don’t know if you have an instagram account, but it always helps me find the best places wherever I’m going! I will write about this for sure, in other blog posts! First places I look for are coffee shops haha! And then new places for a possible photo shoot! I made a long list with everything I found on instagram and looked them up on the maps. Cluj is full of amazing spaces but in two days it was impossible to get to all of them. I have to come back!
We started the day shooting in a green house at the botanical park in the city. Children were bursting everywhere (found out it was holiday for them) and it was a complete challenge to shoot in a closed space with so many people visiting. But we made it! And it was so fun in the end!
Marta was such an inspiration for me and I loved her happy spirit, you can’t stay serious when she’s around! She loves traveling, works in Denmark, dreams to celebrate her birthday in Iceland. And I dream to get to photograph her on her birthday.
We ended up at this cool place called Zama and ate the most delicious cheese cake ever! The light was perfect, just to give that drama between shadows. I was happy with the session because I had the freedom to pursue my own style and Marta trusted me with everything!
